Client Payment Portal – FAQ
Quick Answers
Why is Renactus switching to a new payment portal?
We are upgrading to provide you with:
Easier invoice access
Secure and flexible payment options
New financing options for projects
Better control over your billing preferences
I had a card on file — why do I need to re-enter it?
For your protection, Renactus does not store full card numbers.
Our new system requires a fresh authorization to keep your information safe.
Also, once we end our relationship with the old payment processor, all stored card data will be permanently deleted.
Will there be any fees for paying by credit card?
Yes. Beginning June 1, 2025, a 3% processing fee will apply to credit card payments.
Credit card transactions have become significantly more expensive to process. Rather than raise our prices across the board, we’ve chosen to absorb part of that cost ourselves and pass along only a portion — the 3% — to clients who choose to pay by card.
ACH (bank draft) payments remain free, and they’re our preferred method. It’s fast, secure, and helps us keep costs manageable for everyone.
How do I set up ACH (bank draft) payments?
After activating your portal account, you can securely link your business bank account.
ACH payments are free of fees, and they help us keep operations efficient.
Can I still pay by check?
Yes, we’re still accepting check payments for now. However, we’re in the process of phasing out paper checks as we move toward fully electronic billing.
We strongly encourage all clients to switch to ACH or credit card payments through the portal, which are faster, more secure, and help eliminate delays or processing issues.
Eventually, electronic payment will be the only option we accept.
Is financing available for projects or larger invoices?
Yes! We now offer flexible financing options through our payment partner.
It’s a great way to spread out costs for eligible projects or equipment.
